Our company was appointed Main Contractor and PSCS on this project. It
consisted of a 10 classroom extension to the existing school and
refurbishment of the existing school.
Works were carried out over 4 phases, and included the relocation of
existing portacabins on two occasions in order to facilitate classes during
the construction period, including reconnection to services.
This was a live site with approx 400 pupils plus staff, and the need to safely
manage the daily operation of school and construction was an important
element of the project.
