Sammon Builders were main contractors on this 4 classroom extension to Drumkilly NS in Cavan.

Project included the following elements :

• Construction of four classroom extension to national school 270m2
• Refurbished existing school to provide fire doors and updating fire alarm system.
• Re-surfaced all yards and provided tennis and basketball equipment for yards
• Provision of new set down areas for buses
• Provision of new carpark to rear of school
• Construction of new boundary walls and fencing
• Installation of new sewerage treatment plant
• Provision of disabled access, ramps etc. to new extension
• Upgrading of doors in existing school to make it wheel chair accessible
• Refurbishment of sanitary facilities to existing school
• Installation of new canteen for staff kitchen
• Upgrading of heating to existing school and installation of heating system to new school
