Sammon Builders was appointed main contractor and PSCS on this public works project through public tendering competition. The project included the construction of 15 no houses on a green field site. These A2 rated houses are completed to a very high quality standard, modern and a variety of renewable energy aspects included and included a mix of detached, semi detached, apartments and a community home for the HSE fitted out to requirements.


Ground works included installation of new water, sewer and surface water
to current Irish Water requirements, roadways, paths and paving, retaining wall which included excavations to 3m deep, piling for sewer installation, road openings for water connection along main road, road opening for electrical connections via adjacent live housing estate and on main road
to provide new connection to substation, liaison with ESB and local
authority, and traffic management of in relation to the road opening.
